AvaSphere: Compact Multi-Use Integrating Sphere for Light Measurement

The integrative sphere manufactured by Avantes in the Netherlands is a multi-use integrative sphere with an original structure that collects and measures light, suitable for all applications.

The AvaSphere-IRRAD for light measurement is available in inner diameters of 30, 50, and 80 mm, and has an SMA port for the spectrometer located at a 90° position on the side. It is convenient for measuring light sources such as lasers, LEDs, and halogen lamps, and an adapter is used to support LED measurements. The AvaSphere-REFL for reflection measurement has a side port and also features an SMA port for light sources positioned at an 8° angle from the top, accommodating a variety of applications such as color measurement and fluorescence spectroscopy. An option for a model coated with absorbing material is also available. *Reflection measurement halogen light source built-in type (inner diameter 50 mm) *AvaSphere-50-LS-HAL-12V ● A compact integrating sphere with a built-in 5W halogen light source specially constructed for reflection measurement, capable of illuminating 160 times more light than the standard type. (360-2500nm, inner diameter 50mm, sample port inner diameter 10mm) ● Effective for measuring dark or weak reflective materials and in the near-infrared range. ● Ideal for mineralogy, etc. * There are also large-diameter (102/152/203mm) integrating spheres available for measuring high-output LED light sources.

Reflectance/Transmittance/Quantum Efficiency Measurement Integrating Spheres "RT/RTC Series"

You can choose a coating that matches the measurement wavelength!

The "RT/RTC series" is an integrating sphere for measuring diffuse reflection, diffuse transmission, and quantum efficiency. Depending on the wavelength range, SpectraReflect/InfraGold can be selected as the coating material, and there are two types available for sample placement: the "RT type," where the sample is installed on the wall of the integrating sphere, and the "RTC type," where the sample is installed at the center of the integrating sphere. Additionally, both types can use the included light trap to eliminate the specular reflection light from the sample. 【Features】 ■ Measures diffuse reflection, diffuse transmission, and quantum efficiency ■ Coating can be selected according to the measurement wavelength ■ Available in RT type and RTC type ■ Specular reflection light from the sample can be removed using the included light trap *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Side-mounted integrating sphere for reflection and transmission measurement.

One of the measures being focused on for addressing the heat island effect is the measurement of the solar reflectance of coatings.

It was introduced in "JIS K 5602 Method for Determining the Solar Reflectance of Coatings." The Spectralon developed by Labsphere is actively used as a standard reflector for measuring the solar reflectance of coatings, which is gaining attention as one of the measures against heat islands. For details on the side-mounted type integrating sphere for reflectance and transmittance measurement, please refer to [download the catalog].

Center mount type reflective transmission measurement integrating sphere

Center mount type reflection and transmission measurement integrating sphere

This is a 6-inch integrating sphere designed to measure diffuse reflection and diffuse transmission, with two types of coatings: SpectraReflect and InfraGold. The sample is set at the center of the integrating sphere, and the incident angle can be arbitrarily changed by rotating the sample. Additionally, it can be used as a side-mount type by setting it in a sample holder attached to the integrating sphere port. A light trap for removing the specular reflection component is included as standard. The catalog for this product is described with overseas specifications. Please inquire separately for Japanese specifications.

Example of the measurement tool "integrating sphere"

In-house design, in-house painted reflective surface! A measuring tool with excellent light resistance and good maintenance properties.

An integrating sphere is a measurement tool used to assess the optical characteristics of light sources. The integrating sphere is composed of a diffusely reflective surface with high reflectivity on the inner surface of the sphere, allowing the light emitted from the light source inside the sphere and the light entering the sphere to be reflected multiple times. This process stabilizes the illuminance on the walls of the sphere, and by measuring a portion of this light, it serves as a tool for measuring the optical characteristics of the light source. 【Features】 - White reflective surface with uniform and high reflectivity - Can be regenerated and maintained in case the diffuse surface becomes contaminated or deteriorated - Various light sources can be used by changing integrating sphere accessories such as support stands and sockets - The size and shape of the integrating sphere can be freely designed to match inspection and sorting devices For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

Repainting work for the integration sphere 2 inches φ50mm

We can create an integrative sphere coating that is strong, uniform, and has a high reflectance rate. It is also possible to create a white reflective surface using 100% barium sulfate without the use of a binder.

**Overview** An integrating sphere is a measurement tool used to assess the optical characteristics of light sources. It is composed of a diffusely reflective surface with high reflectivity on the inner surface of the sphere. The light emitted from the light source inside the sphere and the light entering the sphere are reflected multiple times, stabilizing the illuminance on the walls, and by measuring a portion of this light, it serves as a tool to measure the optical characteristics of the light source. Therefore, the reflective coating on the inner surface of the integrating sphere is particularly important. **Features** ◎ BaSO4 reflective surface with uniform and high reflectivity. ◎ It can be restored and maintained even if the diffuse surface becomes contaminated or deteriorated. ◎ Painting of accessories for the integrating sphere, such as support bases and sockets, is also possible. ◎ It has mechanical strength that can withstand mechanical vibrations. ◎ It excels in robustness, long-term stability, and weather resistance even in production environments. ◎ We also provide repainting services for deteriorated integrating spheres from other companies. **Painting Process** Pre-painting inspection (physical properties such as material, structure, flatness) ⇒ Reflectivity measurement under condition d(8/di) (for repainted integrating spheres) ⇒ Pre-treatment (rust prevention treatment, flatness treatment, etc.) ⇒ Painting work (at our factory/customer site) ⇒ Reflectivity measurement under condition d(8/di) ⇒ Submission of "Reflectivity Inspection Report."

Optical integrating sphere for measuring total luminous flux up to 2 meters.

An optical integrating sphere that can be manufactured up to 2 meters. We offer integrating spheres for total luminous flux measurement for LED lighting modules and FPDs at reasonable prices.

Traditionally, it has been difficult to obtain large-sized optical integrating spheres at a high cost, but now they can be manufactured at a reasonable price. When used in conjunction with our high-sensitivity, high-resolution compact spectrometer, high-precision total luminous flux measurements can be conducted on samples such as lighting modules and backlights. The internal coating features a multi-layer application of barium sulfate with an average reflectance of over 97% in the visible range, making it comparable to conventional products from other manufacturers. A dedicated standard light source, traceable to NIST, is provided according to the size of the integrating sphere, and all components, including self-absorbing light sources and sample mounts, are designed and manufactured domestically. This allows for flexible customization options.
